Bexar Veterans

As a Marine Corps veteran and state senator, I've heard from many fellow veterans just how difficult it can be to identify and sort through all the various resources and aid opportunities available to veterans and our families.

From those conversations and experiences came the idea for this website — a one-stop-shop for resources and services available to veterans living in Bexar County.

The input and guidance I have received from numerous people and stakeholder groups in and around the veterans’ community have been invaluable in accumulating and vetting the existing resources for those who have sacrificed so much to protect our nation and those lucky enough to call it home.

The ultimate purpose behind the Bexar Veterans webpage is to give you and your family an all-purpose resource guide that will eliminate much of the guesswork in tracking down, applying and ultimately receiving benefits that you have earned from your military service.

I urge you to view the site as an ongoing community effort and invite you to share any ideas or information that may be pertinent or helpful in fulfilling its purpose.

Working together, we in the Bexar County community can make a difference in the lives of the brave men and women who have given so much in the service of our nation. While the debt to them can never be fully paid, I hope this website will accomplish its purpose of making the lives of veterans a little easier and more productive.
